i cant find any available in person training in my area and i need the training asap! Has anyone done the online class or knows if it is the right way to go, will employers accept it? Certified CPR and First Aid Classes require hand-on training. There are companies outside the ones you listed (hospital, fire, colleges etc) that specialize in these certifications. Cintas & Zee are two companies that come to mind...but I do...

No. If you need to for a job, you will need to take real classes and practice on rescue dolls and take an in class test. Many health jobs specify the American Heart Association courses. They're usually around 6 hours long.
