they were one of Americas best "heavey" bands in the late 60s and early 70s while Zeppelin and Deep Purple were coming from overseas to tickle are senses...what is your fave album or song..I like Survival:)
Yes they were a great power trio from Michigan...a friend from there brought em down to Texas and thats how I heard of them:)

I'm from Michigan, so it's required to like GFR.

Closer to Home album.. it has the song, 'Sin's a Good Man's Brother'. oh, yea!

80-Agents of Fortune-Blue Oyster Cult: not their best album, but OK
