Yo yo, lacy undies, pink loofah.
I'm in high school and I'd just like to know if you have any tips for a high school survival kit I can keep in my locker and what it consists of or any help with that? Also if anyone has some fun clubs to join?
Thank you in advance.
I started one of these when I was in high school, and now that I'm in college, I always keep it in my car. I'm teased about being "grandma" with her goody-purse, but my friends know in any situation I'm the one to find, I am always prepared!
"The Always-Have-it-With-You Kit!"
1) Tampons and Pads [As a girl, you never know!]
2) Band-aids [Cute ones are more fun, but a bit pricey]
3) Hair-Tyes [You know, the rubber bands]
4) Mascara [There can never be enough!]
5) A $10 bill [In case you forget lunch]
6) A nail file [Chipping your fingernails can be a you-know-what for the rest of the day]
7) Small hair brush
8) Little bottle of lotion [Probably not now, but in the winter months your arms will get dry and that can just be annoying]
9) Jolly Ranchers [A must-have, hands down!]
10) Pens and Pencils [Not too many, but just enough to be on the safe side!]
11) Travel Pack of Kleenex
12) A tide Stick [I swear by it!]
13) Handi-wipes [I swear by these, too!]
14) A compact mirror
15) Chapstick
16) Tic-Tac's or Minty Gum [I swear NEVER run out of this- Fresh breath is NEVER a bad thing]
17) And a kodak recyclable camera [I always went through about one or two a year snapping pictures when I could in the hallway, and when it was developed in June I would always laugh at the randomness. It was a cute timeline of that year]
18) Oh! And Deodorant! [Can't forget that one!]
Remember to replenish when needed! Don't forget that! Now, I keep it all in a "save-the-earth" target bag in my trunk, but I used to use a make-up box in my locker. Try target or walmart for something cute to stow everything in- and make sure it fits in your locker!
Heyy, so I'm going to start grade 9 (finally :P) in Sept. and I was thinking in making my own emergency survival kit so that i wouldn't have that much embarrassing moments that would make myself look like a fool :( ... Do you have any ideas of what i should put in it? (I might in a purse of something to bring with me everywhere during school) Thanks sooo much ;D
You really don't need a High School survival kit. I was nervous when I first started high school, but after a few days, you'll get used to it, make friends and everything will be cool!
But if your a girl you'll always need a few things on a daily bases or for emergencies. Heres a list of things I always have with me when I go to school:
* Tampons/ Pads
* A few dollars (For food, drink, or for a way to get home)
* A mirror
* A small kit of makeup (I really don't really worry about makeup at school, if it gets messed up then oh well lol)
* Hairpins
* A small bottle of hairspray
*Tissues
* Chap Stick
* Minty gum
* Minor painkillers like Tylenol ( I wouldn't recommend this though because you could get in trouble for taking meds to school)
I also always have a small bottle of lotion and anti-bacterial soap, only cause I get really dry skin and cause I hate germs, but you don't HAVE to take those. You could also take a small deoderent stick or spray if you have gym or if its really warm where you are. You can also take an extra shirt with you to school, but you should leave that in your locker.
im in 8th grade and i want to have a survival kit for during the day. lyk hair stuff....lotion....gum...pens and a mirror but i dont know what else to put in there. it also has to fit in my locker(its a small locker)...
Anything you think you'll need.
Gum
Mints
Hair clips/pony tail holders
Small perfume or body mist
Portable toothpast and brush
Floss
Portable hair brush
iPod for those boring in between class times, or at least extra headphones
A couple extra dollars always in there in case you forget lunch money/want something out of the snack or drinkdispenser
Extra pens and pencils
Lipgloss or an make up item you might need to update on later.
Tiny agenda to keep track of assignments
Lotion
Mini mirror
Bandages to skip embarrassing trips to the nurse
Pads/Tampons even if you hadn't started your menstrual cycle yet, another embarassing trip to the nurse you can miss
Keep an extra sweatshirt in your bag in case the weather's whacky
Extra gym shorts
Toothpicks
Something to keep your hands entertained if you're trying to refrain from texting/talking. Like a marble or bouncy ball. On second thought, bouncy ball isn't a great idea. Ahaha.
Tissues
A snack or bottle of water
Think of things you would put in a purse or things you know you may need.
Best of luck. I might come back later with more.
:]
A Survival Kit for the Special Education Teacher | Special ...
As a teacher of Special Education, when I found this book, I knew I had found something great. I found it to be a great help in understand IQ scores, parts of IQ scores, and disabilities. There were very specific ideas to help students in your classroom with various disabilities. There was a great section for parents and helping parents learn to accept their child’s abilities and disabilities. I bought this book for myself and later lent it out, I never had it returned. I talked my school into ordering one for every Special Ed teacher in our school. All of us have found this to be an excellent reference.
