Survival Cases

I am curous fif there is any known cases of domesticated dogs that were abandoned or lost packing up to hunt for survival. I am thinking of mostly litters that were born to mothers that were stray. I know that may will become opportunist and eat what they can find. Yet, is there cases where they have teamed up like their wild cousins for survival?

Everyday in America, dogs that are allowed to run free, join up with other dogs. Sometimes the kill other animals. There are verified and validated reports of peoples pet dogs killing wildlife. I have actually seen them kill fawn deer.

A stray dog that does not belong to a person and on its own is called feral. This is a big problem in America. The domestic dog is perhaps the most dangerous animal many people come in contact with.

i hope this help... far more than any thing make sure you keep an extra copy of your important documents in a zip lock bag, just incase of a flood. birth certificate, social security ard, etc.

Are there any sites to tell us where the shelters would be located?
Is there any special equipment to have to survive?
Not just bombs but bacteria, dangerous fumes, or something catastrophic from the global warming? How long do we really have on earth before more catastophies hit from the earths global warming problems?

Check your library for a book titled "On Thermonuclear War" by (Herman?) Kahn. It was published about 1966-67. It will tell about all the things you're looking for.

There is also a series of pamplets from the Atomic Energy Commission. They might be out of print. Look for the one titled:
"Fallout"

The outbreak happens...I of course arm myself with a pistol before alot of people are zombies, then I go to my local store and various guns and ALOT of bullets. I then will buy a whole bunch of canned foods that don't need to be cooked, and while still at the store I will buy plenty of wood and metals so I can barricade my windows and doors, I will set up a sniper rifle in the up stairs window. After that I'll put metal on all my doors and windows so zombies can't break the windows and get in. And I will make it so my door has a opening that I can shoot through...I'll have a place in my basement which has a little metal room so I can go in there if the zombies get in and never be killed and I will of course have some death pills so I don't have to shoot people that are infected...Also there will be a space where people go so that I am for sure they aren't infected they stay in there for a day and I let them help defend the house...if everything fails and the human race is wiped out other than me and the survivors that came to me...well..we will eventually run out of food and bullets so if there's still zombies out there..its suicide time...UNLESS they only come out during the night then I guess well restock and repair every other day.
