The whole class would not be spent on this, but just a introduction to it would be great...

I've never heard of such a class before!
It sounds like you might learn how to light a fire, about different poisonous plants and animals that you should avoid eating if you are lost in a forest and are hungry. How to set up a camp. Things to bring when camping. How to use a compass. Boy scout girl scout stuff you know.
something to that extreme?
Yes....it is worth it. That's exactly where we are heading and it would behove you to learn it. Whether we crash and burn as a society....or you are faced with an Act of God like a tornado or hurricane or flood etc.
The last one I taught was fun, but the Ranger's and Marine Recon thought it was a bit harsh.
Edge: *standing ovation*

Godless: I think you missed the whole point. I'm not Christian. *shrugs*
Back when y2k was a concern a friend of mine was stocking up on food, water, and a bunch of other stuff. I didn't stock up on anything. He asked me what I would do if the worst happened. I told him I would come to his house shoot him and take his stuff. That was my survival plan. lol
EDIT: No problem. He didn't find it so funny. Fortunately nothing happened so he never discovered if I was serious or not.
Yes, my bro is a zombie, but a placid one. I'm pretty sure that he'll soon turn hostile and i'll need to know how to deal with it.
