You might find a road-kill book for details

"Living With Fibromyalgia" Clip - Survival Recipes

The following clip is from the documentary quot;Living With Fibromyalgiaquot; (www.LivingWithFM.com) and includes some basic tips on how to live ...

What are some great (or at least a bit tasty!) recipes using only natural Idaho Flora and Fauna?

For my little survival trip, I'm hoping to find some tasty recipes to take along. Have any ideas?
Some for Washington or Oregon would also help.
I actually don't use guns.
I mostly trap or fish, or (if the materials are plentiful) bow hunt.

Too late in the season for most berries, best take a rifle for meat people dont really survive on plants in the wild only in the south pacific. sorry that stuff is for dreamers...mostly dead ones...

What are some survival adaptations of the dandelion? How do dandelions reproduce?

ok, ANYTHING on the dandelion would be great. except for recipes and books, etc

they 'clone' themselves--this means they can reproduce quickly, but there's very little varriation.

their flowers are vestigil organs,
only the stalk and the bulb are useful to them in reproduction

they can also spread by the roots if memory serves

their seeds:

their seeds are connected to a stem which has a puff of fibre on the end, this puff of fibre is used to catch air, and helps spread the seeds long distances.

I have to make a survival cookie. Will this recipe work?

In the survival cookie i can only use flour (any type), powdered milk, sugar (any type), butter or oil, baking powder, water and 1 other non-perishable ingredient. HELP!

2 cup self-raising flour
1 1/2 cup sugar (too much?)
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup margarine (or oil?)
1/2 cup crushed macadamias

PLEASE HELP i dont bake and have totally guess the quantity of the ingredients!!

1 1/2 C softened butter
1 1/2C sugar
3 C flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
for your 1 other ingredient, i'd use an extract. a teaspoon of vanilla is going to keep your cookies from being really bland. or you could use a spice like cinnamon. but i'd use something that's going to give you flavor, 'cause none of those other ingredients will.

mix the (soft) butter and sugar until creamy. add vanilla. combine your dry ingredients in a separate bowl and gradually add to the butter/sugar mixture. cover the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate a few hours (if you want, shape them into logs. then you'll just have to slice later to form the cookies.) bake them at 350 for 12-14 minutes (until they're set, but not browned. don't overbake.)

that should make you some good sugar cookies.

  • Great Recipe for The Survivor Casts: Recipe for Survival | Notecook

After watching the popular  series Survivor for years, moved my heart to share recipes suitable for participants of the series. It is also appropriate for camping because it can be kept in long period. We can put many other spices to make it more delicious. However, this time will only share the basic recipe.

The name of this food is “Fish Serunding”. The ingredients are as follow:

    i) Three bowl of fish filling (poach the fish and take only the filling)
